The Republican Ticket

Anyone else concerned at all with a would-be president who joked about bombing Iran by singing a re-written Beach Boys tune and repeated (several times, even after being corrected) the proven-false assertion that Al-Qaeda received assistance from that same country, plus a VP nominee who thinks the Iraq war is a mission from Jesus and likes that her daughter chose to keep her baby - but she'd like nothing better than to take that choice away from YOUR daughter, even if she was raped.

If these fuckholes win, I just may have to suck a tailpipe.

Fuck ya I'm concerned. In a rational society, McCain wouldn't stand a chance and Obama would win by a landslide. But let's remember, I live in a country where just over half the voters reelected Bush, even after overwhelming evidence had come out that he outright lied to us about WMDs in Iraq.

I don't know why, but a large segment of Americans actually take pride in their ignorance and will vote for the "regular guy", even if the regular guy has 10 houses and wears $500 shoes and is worth over $100 million dollars. These people are so brain dead they are easily duped by anyone spouting off about God, Guns And Gays. And don't forget to throw in a little 9/11 for good measure.

I'm still hopeful that Obama will win, but I'm not certain by any means. There is no shame in the Republican party and there is no limit on the depth they will stoop to in order to win.

If McCain wins this November, I may just be joining you up north, because I don't think I'll be able to take down here any longer.

American's deserve who they vote for, unfotunately there stupidity or apathy affects the rest of us.

Vote McCain and watch America slide into a closed Christian theocracy.

It'd be too early to suck a tailpipe, but I get where you're coming from. For one, you live in Canada, so you've got a little buffer there (though not much, what with Harper bribing his way to a majority in the upcoming election), plus you could always immigrate to Europe.

Palin was pretty cool when she was on Craig Ferguson's show playing along with his honorary citizenship thing, but she's still a whacko.

come to Europe. As the signs should say: "We have sane people".

The problem with democracy in the US is that there are simply to many idiot voters. I wonder what the best form of governing a country is, when the population can't pick a capable leader?
