The Fucking Douche-Pope Again

Oh for fuck's sake. Hearing the goddamn pope call for Africa - the whole fucking continent - to rid itself of corruption is like Lindsay Lohan showing up and saying, "Hey, you're looking a little thin. You should have a sandwich or something. Jesus, I can see your ribs, for crying out loud. What do you live on? Semen and blow? Fuck...."

You know, that joke would be a lot funnier if a proportion of Catholic priests' diet didn't include goddamn semen.

And how the fuuuuuuuucccccck can this asshole call for, "...respect and promotion of human rights", and then, six (hopefully labored) breaths later, say that abortion is never an option, even when the mother's life is in jeopardy, and that, "...abortion (is) not a health issue." I've coughed up shit that has said smarter phrases than that. How does this guy show up fully dressed?

Any Catholic who dies in Cameroon or Angola of AIDS over the next 10 years should be considered a victim of this fucking anus. He should be charged with crimes against humanity in the Hague. Or just dressed in Under Armour and sent into a burning building.

"How does this guy show up fully dressed?"

Does an old man wearing a dress count as "fully dressed"?

I find it hard to believe we live in the 20th century when someone can, with a straight face, say that the AIDS problem in Africa has nothing to do with whether or not people are using condoms, and that the real cause is corruption.

God is smiting Africa?

I wish the religious would get their story straight.

Either:

1) We pay for our sins in Hell (if we haven't used the get-out-of-jail-free repentant card by that point).

or

2) God punishes us (in horrible, horrible ways) while we're on Earth and, what, kills us to get us to Hell more quickly?

Or is it both? I never seem to get an answer to this question. Maybe because they're making this shit up as they go.

You're right about the crimes on humanity thing. Is anyone in authority calling him on this at all? Seriously. I wonder if anyone in an elected position simply can't afford to lose the Catholic vote. What a civilised world, eh?

KA - I think, maybe, yes. It's hard to say when the dress is involved. He certainly wasn't "fully dressed" here.

Fleegman - Losing the Catholic vote or, more importantly, the religious vote. Many times it's the "we hate other religions until they're being attacked by sane, rational people...then the lunatics have to band together" idea.
